Turn your event into a timeless masterpiece with live event painting.
As your guests watch the magic unfold, a stunning painting comes to life in real-time, capturing a magical moment and creating a timeless keepsake you can auction to the highest bidder.
We created this design based off Poppy’s desire to paint something loose and semi abstract. Poppy has a love of incorporating birds into her work, and so the Kingfisher was the perfect options as it symbolises strength, courage and new beginnings.
Get Yourself Checked Charity was created to raise awareness to men to check for prostate cancer.
We added their blue ribbon into the painting and it was auctioned on the night, raising $7000 for their charity!
Maria painted this gorgeous scene in oils, live at the event.
This was then gifted to the winning guest at the end of the event.
The event was a gala to promote tourism to the northern NSW area, including Byron Bay, with the client wanting a landscape scene of the area.
What is live event painting?
Live event painting is an interactive art experience where we create a painting, either from life or a pre arranged design, while at your event.
How long does the painting take to complete?
We typically begin painting at the start or your event, so the guests can watch the whole process. We paint right up until the end of the event. We do make edits in studio if needed, frame and then send to your chosen recipient.
Can guests interact with you during the event?
Absolutely! Part of the joy of live event painting is engaging with your guests. We love chatting with them about the artwork, and they can watch the painting evolve throughout the day. We can even partake in live interviews during the event, which can help if fundraising by auction.
How do you decide on the design?
We always have a consult with the client to discuss their goals with the painting and any ideas they have. Either we are painting the event from life, or we will come up with a design based off the consult and have it pre approved by the client.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as soon as you have your venue and date, as dates tend to fill up quickly; especially during peak seasons. Ideally, 6 months in advance is best, but we do try to accommodate last minute bookings where possible.
How much does live wedding painting cost?
Pricing varies depending on the size of the canvas and artist. We have a range of talented artists with different skill and experience levels, which is reflected in the pricing. See above for a guide to average pricing with our top artists.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, we are all available for travel! Travel fees apply depending on the location, and we’re happy to discuss the specifics with you during the booking process.
Do you offer any free work for charities?
Live painting is a very skilled practice, which not only requires a lot of energy but also expensive art materials, so we cannot offer this for free.
Although we do not offer any free events, we do have a special rate for charities and not for profits. Please enquire for this.
