What is live wedding painting?
Live wedding painting is an interactive art experience where we capture the essence of your special day on canvas, while at your wedding. From the ceremony to the reception, we paint your chosen scene, creating a unique keepsake that you and your guests can enjoy during the event.
How long does the painting take to complete?
We typically begin painting an hour before the ceremony or early reception and continue until around 9pm. By the end of the event, the majority of the painting is completed, with final touches added in-studio. We then send it off for framing, before sending out to you.
Can guests interact with you during the event?
Absolutely! Part of the joy of live wedding painting is engaging with your guests. We love chatting with them about the artwork, and they can watch the painting evolve throughout the day.
Do you offer customisations, such as adding special details or people?
Yes, we can add specific details, such as special florals, pets, or even family members who may not be able to attend. We can discuss any custom additions during the planning process to ensure your painting reflects what matters most to you.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as soon as you have your venue and date, as dates tend to fill up quickly; especially during peak wedding seasons. Ideally, 6-12 months in advance is best, but feel free to reach out anytime to check availability.
How much does live wedding painting cost?
Pricing varies depending on the size of the canvas and any customisations. See the above packages for all our standard sizes. We do also vary pricing for emerging artists, so it’s always best to check out each artists page for their personal pricing.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, we are all available for travel! Travel fees apply depending on the location, and we’re happy to discuss the specifics with you during the booking process.
Can I commission a painting from photos if my wedding has already passed?
Absolutely! If you’ve already had your wedding and want a beautiful painting to commemorate the day, All of our artists can create a custom piece from your favourite photos.
