We booked Poppy on a whim at the last minute and it was the best decision we ever made. We did the 'deluxe live guest illustrations' provided to each guest as a favour. Our guests raved (and still do) about this and all have it now hanging on their fridge or even framed. Everyone said it was the best thing ever! The paintings were amazing quality, with Bride and Groom name printed and guest name hand written also provided in a plastic slip to keep safe. Poppy was professional, kind and prompt with her service. Our photographer (who has seen 1000s of weddings) was blown away also.

Poppy painted guest portraits for us at our wedding and she couldn’t have done a more perfect job! I booked last minute after enquiring many months before hand and SO glad I followed through with her services. The guests did not stop raving about how unique it was to have someone paint them and how blown away they were with the finished product. So many are still talking about their paintings nearly 2 months later and many have proudly displayed them in their homes. Us included! Poppy did an amazing job, couldn’t recommend Poppy and her amazing guest portraits more. If you’re thinking about it, do it, you and your guests won’t be disappointed!

What is live guest portraits?
Live guest portraits are a great way to entertain guests, while also gifting them their own portraits to take away. Our artist will come to your event and paint each person in their fancy outfits, so they have a really cool momento of your day.

How long does the painting take to complete?
We typically paint a couple in around 6-10 minute. This means you can allow for around 10 guests per hour.

Can guests interact with you during the event?
Absolutely! Part of the joy of live wedding painting is engaging with your guests. We love chatting with them about the artwork, and they love watching themselves appear in paint. Guests rave about it!

Do the guests need to stand for time it takes you to paint?
Not at all! We take photos of each guest/couple as they arrive at the event. We then paint from the photos, and guests can check back throughout the event to collect their painting. Of course, they’re also welcome to watch the process.

How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as soon as you have your venue and date, as dates tend to fill up quickly; especially during peak wedding seasons. Ideally, 6-12 months in advance is best, but feel free to reach out anytime to check availability. We have three painters who all paint guest portraits, so last minute bookings can usually be accommodated.

How much does live wedding painting cost?
Pricing varies depending on the amount of guests you have. Please see our packages for pricing.

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, we are all available for travel! Travel fees apply depending on the location, and we’re happy to discuss the specifics with you during the booking process.

Do you require anything from us on the day?
Yes, we will require a table and chair, and access to power. With numbers above 20 guests, we also require a vendor meal.
